Nate & Molly | A Surprise Proposal

Nate contacted me a couple weeks before him and Molly would be heading up to Maine with her family for a summer getaway. He had it all planned out – a stroll through Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine around sunset where he would get down on one knee and pop the question (ya know…”Will you marry me?!”). Afterwards, they would head to dinner where the restaurant staff would be waiting to congratulate them! I mean seriously – HOW ROMANTIC?!

Molly was surprised and of course, she said YES!!! She admitted that she had a feeling a proposal was coming that weekend, but she had no idea that Nate would be putting so much effort into his proposal or that he would plan for a photographer to be there to document it!

After the proposal, Nate & Molly took a few minutes to just be happy before getting to take engagement photos around the park and Portland Head Light. These two really were so sweet and I am so excited for them!

Sam did an amazing job capturing our proposal! She was super helpful leading up and gave great tips about finding the perfect spot and how to get the perfect proposal shot. I normally hate photos but Sam made everything feel natural and the photos came out great! She was also very quick to get the photos back to us. We will be keeping her in mind for the wedding!
