Megan & Brian | An Elegant Winter Wedding at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA

We were SO excited when Megan & Brian reached out to us about photographing their wedding! You see, Megan’s cousin and her husband are a fabulous wedding photography team in Richmond (check out their work here!!), and they have taken courses and learned from the same mentor that Mike and I have followed since the beginning of our careers in photography. So when her cousin referred us to Megan, we were honored, super flattered, and just KNEW this wedding would be absolutely amazing…and it truly did not disappoint.

Megan & Brian’s engagement session took place on the coldest. windiest. freeeeezing day inside Fenway Park (aka, a total wind tunnel). Pretty sure all our fingers and noses were totally numb, but these two still managed to have tons of fun posing and exploring Fenway all for the sake of gorgeous engagement photos. That’s when I knew their winter wedding would be a piece of cake! And thank goodness for that practice because it was definitely a cold one for their wedding day! We kept saying, “Ehhh, this is nothing compared to the engagement session!” 😂

Every single detail of this day was so thoughtfully planned and styled. The decor was elegant, simple, and sophisticated. Megan’s dress had the most beautiful lace sleeves. The groomsmen wore warm, comfy sweaters instead of suit jackets (such a creative idea for a winter wedding and they looked so cozy!). Their families and friends were so warm and welcoming towards all the vendors that were coming together to make the day amazing! All in all, Megan & Brian’s wedding was a total dream.

We went outside during cocktail hour for some nighttime portraits! We absolutely LOVED getting to do this and can’t wait to try more nighttime portraits in the future!!
