Emily & Cody | A Colorful Downtown Portsmouth, NH Wedding

AHHHH my goodness! I am so excited to share Emily & Cody’s wedding because it is was so beautiful and there was seriously so. much. love. at this wedding (not gonna lie – I totally cried like at least four times because it was all so stinking sweet!).

During Emily and Cody’s engagement session at Mack’s Apples in Londonderry, NH, I saw how deeply they love each other and they told me all how Cody proposed at Barnes & Noble (where they had one of their first dates!). He brought a scavenger hunt for Emily’s daughter, Tenley, and got down on one knee to ask her if he could be her stepdad – then asked Emily to marry him! Obviously…she said yes!

I knew their wedding would be absolutely amazing because their stories and how they act together is just…inspiring. But I really didn’t anticipate being in tears practically all day at how much love this little family has for each other and how happy Tenley is to officially be a family!

Beyond that – there were so many incredible personal touches throughout the day like the arbor that Cody built himself, the bouquets that Emily made with silk imported from Hong Kong and fresh preserved eucalyptus, the signs that Emily made herself, and pieces of jewelry passed down from Emily’s mom and dad. It was seriously one of the most gorgeous weddings!
